One of my all-time favorites, the artist ETHEL HAYS does the cutest children's illustrations. This rare vintage children's book, GOODY-GOOD BOOK OF STORIES, showcases some of her best work and is SIGNED BY THE ILLUSRATOR, Ethel Hays!! Not just signed, but sweetly inscribed to the original owner of the book when given as a gift back in 1944!
The large full page illustrations throughout the book are just precious. Chubby cheeked kids and animals in bright color. They would look wonderful framed!
The book is a bit rough, in shabby chic condition - with scuffs, some age discoloration and pages falling out as pictured.
