These darling bookends will steal your heart! Sweet Dutch boy and girl in traditional clothing and wooden clogs. Perfectly chippy, they are vintage chalkware hand-painted in soft creams with green and gold toned accents. The faces are very sweet, and the chipped paint only adds to the charm.
The bookends have no markings (probably long ago rubbed away) but are likely from the 1940's - 1950's. They are very sturdy, and can easily hold up several hardback books with no wobbling. The edges are a bit scuffed - but no major dings or cracks. Perfect for a shabby chic or cottage style book display.
