Ooh la la! A darling VINTAGE CERAMIC FRENCH LAMB PLANTER with large eyes and rosy cheeks. From the 1940's or early 50's, this little Parisian has the sweetest face. Wearing a French beret, pink bow and a little moustache. So sassy and cute. Kitschy vintage decor, the size of this planter makes it a useful decoration in a nursery, bathroom or bedroom. Use as a unique holder for pencils, Q-Tips, or makeup brushes - or as a flower planter of course! Makes a perfect gift!
Exact manufacturer unknown, but from the style it is likely made in Japan. Marked E-2842 on bottom. The glaze is in good shape; some fading and minor discoloration. No chips or cracks, but small scuffs on underside. Dimensions: approx. 5 inches tall, 4 inches long.
This is a genuine vintage item. Any imperfections from age only add to the charm.
